"Bread and Butter with the White Queen"  10 x 13  Oil on Canvas  SOLD

When one has ventured through the looking glass, it only makes sense to enjoy a proper British tea

while one is there. In this case, Alice is fortunate enough to come upon the White Queen, who is taken

to running about in a state of dishevelment calling out (for no apparent reason), "Bread and butter! Bread and butter.

" Here is captured a magical moment when the queen is still long enough to take tea with Alice.

Her entreaty is captured, however, in the steam which emanates from the tea itself.
